President Donald Trump entered the Vanity Fair–Hillary Clinton debate with a tweet on Thursday morning:
Vanity Fair, which looks like it is on its last legs, is bending over backwards in apologizing for the minor hit they took at Crooked H. Anna Wintour, who was all set to be Amb to Court of St James’s & a big fundraiser for CH, is beside herself in grief & begging for forgiveness!

But this triggered Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale, who asked the president for a correction:
Everything else aside, Anna Wintour is not at all the editor of Vanity Fair. I look forward to the prompt correction. pic.twitter.com/wbNpitftVb

Err … what exactly should Trump correct?
Anna Wintour serves as artistic director of Condé Nast as well so she wields enormous influence and control over all Condé Nast titles. He’s right to mention her in this case. https://t.co/3csgp0V6nZ

Time for Dale to correct!

Well, he kind of corrected:
Ah, here is the organizational basis for Trump’s dramatic scene: https://t.co/brjVQrruW2
