Royal sister of the future Queen of England, Pippa Middleton, decided to weigh in on a story regarding America’s royalty, Kim Kardashian, and that now infamous picture of Kim’s backside in a diary post she wrote for The Spectator:
Pippa Middleton’s diary: truffles, wine, cowboys and – yes – @KimKardashian's bottom http://t.co/fW6CKUqkh9 pic.twitter.com/xJF6bMJARf

An excerpt:
No year is complete without a bottom story, and the ‘Rear of 2014’ award undoubtedly goes to Kim Kardashian, after her posterior exploded all over the internet last month. I must say that mine — though it has enjoyed fleeting fame — is not comparable. But the Kim butt story did make me pause. What is it with this American booty culture? It seems to me to be a form of obsession. Kim’s aim, apparently, was to break the internet, but I’m not sure she’s going the right way about it.
So Kim wins? U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!
Oh, wait … is winning a good thing?
Although all readers aren’t so sure of Pippa’s assessment verdict:
@spectator Given the choice, Pippa Middleton's perfect shape beats #FatArsed @KimKardashian #LightBlocking derrière every day of the week!

But it’s not Pippa’s Kardashian review that’s making people mad … it’s her statement that it’s been a “bumper year for white truffles in Northern Italy” because of climate change:
Pippa Middleton's a big fan of climate change (!) & someone else's bottom. http://t.co/fIcl2xECTR

EXCEPT, that’s not what she said. AT ALL. Here’s the quote from her Spectator piece:
A few days ago I went truffle hunting in Piedmont. It’s been a bumper year for white truffles in northern Italy — the best ever, according to some experts — thanks to climate change and an exceptionally wet summer.
No “big fan,” “rejoice,” or “idiocy” from the Royal in-law. It reads like she’s agreeing with the alarmists that climate change is real and this is just one of the effects.
Sheesh.
