'Research Shows' Strikes Again: Leftist Dark Money Group Attacks the Supreme Court

Fuzzy Chimp

It wouldn't be a day ending in a 'Y' if the left weren't attacking and trying to undermine the Supreme Court. Their attacks on the court have been both innumerous and completely baseless.

Enter 'Demand Justice,' one of the sketchiest dark money groups on the left ever. Demand Justice is the epitome of hypocrisy, demanding an end to dark money at the same time they are funneling it into pushing more and more leftists into the judiciary.

If you are wondering how we got a justice on the Supreme Court who doesn't know what a woman is, thank Demand Justice, one of the groups behind the campaign to force Stephen Breyer to retire, as well as the push to nominate Ketanji Brown-Jackson for the highest court in the land.

This week, they continued their attacks on SCOTUS with a new 'research study.'

Justices interrupt lawyers who speak before them?? Oh no. Let us go find our pearls so we can clutch them.

Memo to the rocket scientists at Demand Justice: That is what SCOTUS justices are supposed to do in oral arguments.

But let's reserve some disdain for the 'researchers' behind this study from UMass Amherst. Don't bother clicking on their 'study' (unless you are a masochist). It is a classic case of reaching a conclusion and then manufacturing data to support that conclusion. Flaws abound, most glaringly in the manipulation of data based on the politics of the actual justice doing the 'interrupting' (again, something justices should do).

They are at the bottom of the barrel. But they'll probably come out with some new 'research' about how the Court is rayyyyycist sometime very soon.

We weren't the only ones questioning this study either. The only phrase that is a bigger red flag than 'research shows' in 2023 is the phrase 'experts agree.

Nor does the new justice they pushed on the court.

The Babylon Bee probably did predict this headline, just like they have predicted so many others.

For the most part, Demand Justice was just treated with the derision they deserved.

We'll say it one more time. Supreme Court justices are obligated to interrupt those who argue cases before them. If they aren't, then they aren't doing their jobs.

And manipulating data to somehow claim the justices are 'sexist' just isn't going to fly. Try another baseless attack, Demand Justice.
