‘Tech and culture reporter’ for NBC News, Kat Tenbarge, managed to own herself so thoroughly that conservatives looking to ‘own the libs’ are sure to be jealous of her feat. Twitchy readers may remember her recent defense of kids at drag shows.
Kat begins with the usual bit of misdirection we’ve come to expect from the Left. ‘So and so is blaming trans and queer people for child grooming.’ That’s not exactly accurate, is it? Conservatives, by and large, agree that adults can do what they want, even things many on the Right disagree with.
That all goes out the window when you to try bring children into it. Who do conservatives blame for ‘child grooming’? Anyone who is trying to groom children. It’s not complicated.
Tucker Carlson, Libs of TikTok, etc create a stream of content blaming trans and queer people for child grooming, but rarely or never feature actual victims of child grooming. If they did, they’d have to reckon with the fact that many survivors are queer and trans themselves

Kat Tenbarge really stepped in it this time because she essentially said, ‘Oh yeah, maybe you should talk to victims of child grooming and you’ll find out that … they’ve been groomed!’
