Good Samaritan Tells Reporter Near the White House How CNN Can Get Its Press Credentials Back

The Trump White House has been good enough to provide a few media outlets with another weekend full of "democracy in crisis" headlines by taking away access from CNN, MS NOW and Politico.

CNN quickly put out a statement defending its history of "fair and accurate reporting."

With that laughable claim in mind, let's get this out of the way:

So much "fake news"!

I wonder why https://t.co/9kK3ZLSGeJ pic.twitter.com/BFO9spojFo

That doesn't look like very much "fair and accurate reporting."

This morning it became clear that Trump wasn't joking, but CNN and MS NOW still have First Amendment rights, just not from inside the White House.

🔥 LMAO! CNN is being forced to do their live shots from the SIDEWALK outside the White House after their press badge were CONFISCATED by Secret Service

MS NOW's access was denied this morning as well.

"We can do our job anywhere," declared the CNN reporter. Good! Do it right… pic.twitter.com/1J3CXNZmP6

How could CNN try and get its White House access back?

One passerby was kind enough to let their reporter know what needs to be done:

🤣🔥 INCREDIBLE: Some patriot just walked up and HECKLED CNN's reporter LIVE ON AIR outside the White House

"Tell the truth! If you tell the truth, then you won't get revoked. Tell the truth."

What a concept! 🤯

Unfortunately, CNN is totally incapable of telling the truth.… https://t.co/CIqQKla59y pic.twitter.com/BCzEbChBTl

"Tell the truth."

Just something to consider, CNN!
