Today's example of "you know it's getting bad when..." involves Michigan Senate candidate and Hasan Piker bestie Abdul El-Sayed.
As everybody knows, El-Sayed has been trying to dismiss his association with Piker by referring to him as "a Twitch streamer in California." However, Piker has also been "an El-Sayed supporter campaigning for him in Michigan."
El-Sayed might have assumed he'd have a fairly easy interview on MS NOW on "Morning Joe" earlier today, but he did get called out for trying to pretend he's not buddies with Piker:
