Gavin Newsom Rake Stomps Again While Pointing Out How Much Gas Prices Have Risen in Other States

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is almost certainly trying to set up a run for the Democrat presidential nomination in 2028, and so far he's doing that by screeching about Trump, projecting and either ignoring his record in his own state or lying about it. 

Here's Newsom's latest attempt to try and distract: 

Gas prices SKYROCKETED in Wisconsin overnight by 23¢.

As of September 17 2026, AAA reports California’s average regular gas price at $6.09 per gallon. The national average is $4.44. California runs about $1.65 higher and ranks as the most expensive state.
