As we told you earlier, Democrat Sen. Jon Ossoff obviously decided to be one of the presidential hopefuls from his own party to reach rock bottom first when he participated in a shameless effort to smear Trump aide Natalie Harp.

Now we get to the "guess what happened next" part.
President Trump was honoring a hero lifeguard who went viral after video was posted showing him saving the life of somebody who would have drowned if he wouldn't have been around. At that point a CNN reporter decided it would be a good time to help Ossoff and the Democrats spread the smear around:
