Being the most shameless congressional Democrat is a high bar to clear, but this week at least Sen. Chris Murphy has earned that distinction.
As we all know, being crippled by TDS means automatically taking the opposition position of whatever Trump does, even if that means supporting criminal illegals, sounding like defense attorneys for the cartels, or even rooting for the Iranian regime.
The Babylon Bee summed it up perfectly:

Chris Murphy would no doubt vote in favor of that.
The Democrats have had to find ways to slam Trump as operations are ongoing against the Iranian regime while trying to make it look like they still support the troops (which is rich coming from the party that spent an entire day slamming Pete Hegseth for providing good food for our service members). Murphy's remarks sound like they could have been a tweet from the Ayatollah before he got smoked:

The war is only "going horribly" if you read U.S. media who probably had all their "war is going horribly for Trump" pieces written before Operation Epic Fury even started. But the remaining leadership of Iran's regime will appreciate the morale boost from Murphy and his fellow Democrats.
Additionally, Murphy's "senile old man" swipe at Trump is rich coming from somebody who vouched for the mental fitness of Joe Biden. The projection, not unlike the shameless lies from Murphy, never ends.
