As we found out in the first Trump term, there has been no bigger journalistic attention whore than former CNN White House reporter Jim Acosta.
Acosta is no longer with CNN but he continues to take to Substack and social media to prove that any prior claims of objectivity were complete BS and that he's nothing more than a Democrat propagandist.
One of my recent favorites that sums up his level of "journalism" was when Acosta directed some questions to Trump adviser Stephen Miller, all with the replies turned off:
We have become the private, for-profit jailers of children. Do you want Dilley to come to a community near you? @StephenM what would you do if your kids were here? Some thoughts from my trip to the notorious Dilley Family Detention Center. https://t.co/1saE40VnXv pic.twitter.com/yNiImkXoIR

Asks Miller questions with the replies turned off. What "journalism"! https://t.co/WvmP713HWU

That was the perfect encapsulation of the self-described journo who also considers himself to be a free speech warrior.
Fast forward to today's Pentagon briefing led by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and Acosta had this to say:
Even though the briefing room was filled with his MAGA buddies, Hegseth still resorted to Fox MAGA talking points to bash the press. https://t.co/A1PCUmFZNA

If the press doesn't want to be bashed they shouldn't make themselves so bashable.
The scene today was "what state TV looks like," according to Acosta:
Stocking these Pentagon briefings with MAGA ringers is an absolute disgrace. This is what state TV looks like.

Lindell TV, the Daily Wire, Gateway Pundit, Tim Pool. These are the “outlets” asking “questions” at a Pentagon briefing on a war. How are the American people served by this? https://t.co/xmbXwxXxbL

Because this is Jim Acosta we're talking about, there were the usual "lies by omission" going on in the above post:
The real disgrace is lying about who was in the room.

The facts:https://t.co/aHydb5wYjd https://t.co/9ndcl8739Z
Being disgraceful is Acosta's business, and business is good.
There were reporters from all corners of the media in the room. But nice work on the sassy tweet! https://t.co/L8xNpYxs4S

Here’s a list of legacy reporters who were approved for today’s briefing, according to a War Department official, though not sure if they all showed up:

Stars and Stripes
Reuters
Newsmax
Time
CNN
Bloomberg
ABC
Fox
NYT
MS NOW
Washington Post
Wall Street Journal
CBS
The Atlantic…
He didn't feel the need to mention these outlets that were either in attendance or were invited to attend the briefing:
Stars and Stripes
Reuters
Newsmax
Time
CNN
Bloomberg
ABC
Fox
NYT
MS NOW
Washington Post
Wall Street Journal
CBS
The Atlantic…
Also, when Acosta talks about "serving the American people" he means "lying to them by pushing Democrat talking points and not the truth."
How? The American people are not all Democrats like you. The anti-free press WHCA monopoly is over, Jim. You’ll survive people besides your fellow Democrats asking questions for a change. https://t.co/74e2TLwDSc

We don't recall "journalist" Acosta now accusing Trump of running a "state media" having much of an issue with this:

All while self-unaware "journalists" like Jim Acosta never step back and ask themselves why they lost their jobs and the old school media has been circling the drain for many years.
