The corporate media attempts to help Democrats forward their talking points about the deportation of illegal aliens continue, and they often look something like this:

As usual, the headlines often leave out more important details:
Not included in the headline:
— Bill Melugin (@BillMelugin_) July 9, 2025
- He’s an Egyptian national whose asylum status was revoked during the Biden administration last year.
- He apparently flagged on the FBI terror watchlist during a background check, though he claims the fingerprints didn’t match his.
- Sued Feds… https://t.co/bX76dL3QUj
The "children's chaplain" is of course in addition to "Maryland man" and other attempts to soften the image of the person or people the Left wants everybody to believe is the victim.
That brings me to a 60 Minutes promo CBS posted about "a group of Venezuelan men" and where they were sent:
A group of Venezuelan men thought they were being deported from the U.S. back to Venezuela. Instead, they were delivered to CECOT, the notorious maximum-security prison in El Salvador, where they were shackled and paraded before cameras. This Sunday, two of those men tell 60… pic.twitter.com/HsvVzLMcNA

They could have avoided all that by not entering the U.S. illegally in the first place but I'm guessing 60 Minutes won't point out that simple truth. And I wish these "journalists" would do sympathetic interviews with the victims of criminal illegals as much as they enjoy giving a platform to those who broke the law to enter the U.S.
Why the fuck are you interviewing criminals and letting them play victim? wtf is wrong with you @60Minutes https://t.co/43LkBNi0vn

Maybe they're just trying to help Sen. Van Hollen figure out who he should have margaritas with next.
Also these people could have self-departed back to Venezuela, but obviously that didn't happen.
I honestly don’t care where they go, as long as it’s out of the US. They had the choice to self deport.

Gee, maybe they should’ve left the country voluntarily.

"They were given a chance and didn't take the opportunity" should be the entirety of 60 Minutes' story, but of course it won't.
Love it.

Not sure how legacy media/propaganda outlets think this is in any way not what the overwhelming majority of Americans want. https://t.co/oO1pIP0sj7
Last November Americans voted to clean up the huge mess that four years of Biden and President Autopen intentionally created, and that's exactly what's happening. 60 Minutes can cry about it all they want.
