Yesterday America got definitive proof that the federal government has been in a "Schumer shutdown" the whole time, all while the Democrats have been trying to blame Trump and the Republicans. That failed and enough Senate Democrats knew it was a bad look for them and we ended up getting to the 60 votes needed to forward the bill. The mood on MSNBC was almost as dour as it was on election night, which is strange for a bunch of people who were in previous days freaking out about families going hungry while trying to blame Trump.

The Democrats, including Gov. Gavin Newsom who is definitely going to run for his party's nomination in 2028 (though I don't know why since he's already claimed Trump's going to cancel the election), are making their faux concerns about regular people far too obvious.
Just a few days ago Newsom said "people are going to go hungry" because of the shutdown:
