Here's an Answer to the Question 'Why Aren't More People Blaming Dems for the Shutdown?'

Meme

The Schumer shutdown has now been going on for a record length of time, and the Senate Democrats could end it at any time by simply passing the CR they've been blocking.

As for public perception, here's a recent poll

Recent Reuters/Ipsos polling suggests that Americans blame both parties in Congress for the shutdown, with 50% saying most of the blame goes to Republicans and 43% blaming Democrats.

Three moderate Democratic senators have voted with Republicans to reopen government, arguing the immediate harm of the shutdown outweighs any long-term gains.

In other words, not enough Senate Democrats have voted to reopen the government. The Dems can't be called out enough, like this:

This is all on the Dems, but why don't more Americans put the blame on Schumer?

You guessed it...

As usual, the Democrat pals who operate the media propaganda machine have been working overtime on this one:

Color me SHOCKED!

Again, lying by omission is the order of the day (read the whole analysis at Newsbusters):

Coverage across all three networks was conspicuously vague about how the shutdown even had occurred. There were only 12 instances in which any of the three outlets hinted that Senate Democrats had voted repeatedly against a continuing resolution. On both ABC and CBS, only 12.5 percent of reports on either network mentioned this basic detail. On NBC, that fact was included in just 31 percent of newscasts.

Reports often included lines about the Trump administration “pressuring Democrats,” or soundbites of Republicans demanding Democrats “fund the government,” but usually stopped short of explicitly acknowledging that Senate Democrats were the ones preventing a funding bill from passing.

The MSM doesn't want to go out of their way to ruin the Democrats' bogus "the Republicans control the House, Senate and White House" talking point by reporting an inconvenient reality.

However, the "old guard" hacks have lost their grip on the level of influence they once had, and they can't complete their fade into complete irrelevance fast enough.
