Over these last few weeks I've started to lose track of all the lies Democrats and their lefty media water carriers have been telling as it relates to both the White House East Wing renovation and ballroom construction, along with the assigning of blame for the government shutdown.
The new BS the Dems are shoveling is that the House being out of session has anything to do with the fact that the shutdown continues:
They don’t even pretend to care. This is the only story. You can’t open the government if the House refuses to show up. https://t.co/mrUwxJFLKA
— Chris Murphy 🟧 (@ChrisMurphyCT) October 24, 2025
The only thing preventing the government from reopening is the Senate Dems who are blocking the CR the House already passed, but as usual Murphy just hopes everybody's stupid.
We're now moving on to the next Dem talking point, which is "food lines for federal workers." That is of course being blamed on Trump even though we might as well call them "Schumer's food lines":
Wow. Thousands of furloughed federal workers lined up in Maryland today to get food. Remember the last time we saw something like this? Yeah, Trump was president then, too. pic.twitter.com/cy9Qcg8AUV

Dems clap like barking seals when coal or pipeline workers lose their jobs but we're supposed to weep for gov't workers who are going to end up getting full back pay?
You know Trump is president when the bread lines start https://t.co/LnQWFssdkD

Well, first of all, this is on Schumer, and second, a House Dem recently admitted that her party is enjoying the "leverage" that comes with the "families that are going to suffer" aspect of the shutdown.
If you want to know why democrats are keeping the government shut down…it’s because they to create content like this… https://t.co/r5BC4dH1vv

Yep. The Democrats shut down the government, create whatever optics they want, and then project the blame onto Trump. Never fails.
These people are not poor. They’re taking food from the truly needy and have barely missed a paycheck. Sheesh!

Are you saying federal workers should have more protection than private workers? https://t.co/jYU6VLwZAV

They cry when government workers are even temporarily inconvenienced, but when it happened in the private sector we were told "learn to code." The attempt to make things that are happening because of the Schumer shutdown representative of the entire economy is laughable, desperate and dishonest. But that's the Democrat brand.
Have a great weekend everybody!
