Let's Fill In the Context Missing From L.A. Times' Headline About 'Soccer Coach' Accused of Murder

Meme

At this point I could make these "context the media didn't feel like putting in their headline and/or story" posts a daily feature, and one of the most notorious outlets that gets caught doing that very thing is the Los Angeles Times.

Here's a fresh headline, and this time instead of the "Maryland dad" approach we have a "soccer coach" who has been arrested:

It's a terrible story, and for some reason the Times didn't think shining a light on more details in the headline was necessary in the name of "journalism."

If the alleged killer had been wearing a Trump hat I have zero doubt that the L.A. Times wouldn't have found room for that aspect of the story in their headline, but when the suspects are illegal aliens that's just not important enough to include:

Could the L.A. Times possibly be more predictable? Probably not.

Propaganda often comes in the form of leaving key but inconvenient details out of a headline because they know that's what most people will see.

Has Sen. Van Hollen had margaritas with this guy yet?

On April 7, Garcia Aquino was charged with murder, including a special circumstance allegation of murder during the commission or attempted commission of lewd acts with a child. Officials declined to state how Omar was killed at the time.

Maddening, and it wouldn't have happened but for "sanctuary" Democrats.

These are the kinds of people the Democrats are fighting to keep in the country and the media's doing their part as well.

The media either twisting the truth of leaving out inconvenient details happens again and again and again. It's said often, but it's impossible to heap too much derision on the propaganda press.
