The consequences of four years with an open border under the Biden administration, all while the Democrats tried to blame Trump and the Republicans for it, keep becoming clearer by the day.
Warren wrote yesterday about border czar Tom Homan's comments on the kinds of people who likely took advantage of the U.S. having a Homeland Security secretary who was basically a Walmart greeter of sorts escorting illegals into the U.S. Among the people who could have entered are those who could be Iranian sleeper cells:
BARTIROMO: Can you assess how many Iranians are in the country that are in sleeper cells?

HOMAN: I said the last four years, my biggest concern was this open border is the biggest national security vulnerability this country has ever seen.
There were 1272 nationals of Iran… pic.twitter.com/rrueDJRkUL
"Nothing to see here," just more possible tragic consequences of Biden's open border:
BARTIROMO: Can you assess how many Iranians are in the country that are in sleeper cells?
HOMAN: I said the last four years, my biggest concern was this open border is the biggest national security vulnerability this country has ever seen.
There were 1272 nationals of Iran released into the country.
Under Joe Biden, we had over 10 million people cross that border.
That's what created the biggest national security vulnerability this country has ever seen.
Here's the most maddening part as far as I'm concerned...
Democrats who supported Biden's policies, including the open border, are now vowing to protect their constituents from possible negative effects that Biden's open border allowed.
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer had this to say:
My top priority is the safety and security of the people of Michigan.

Last night, I called a briefing with the Adjutant General of @MINationalGuard and Colonel Grady with @MichStatePolice. We’re monitoring the situation in Iran closely and taking steps to keep Michiganders safe.
I couldn't help but be snarky:
Why might there be an issue? Did some people slip through the open border of the president you supported? https://t.co/WudrJTF9bp

Yeah, take ALL the seats, Gretch.
Pick a Democrat governor and you'll likely get posts like this:
Following the escalation in Iran, I’m keeping a close eye in consultation with federal authorities and @ILStatePolice.
— Governor JB Pritzker (@GovPritzker) June 22, 2025
There are no known threats to our state at this time.
I’ll continue to receive briefings as we remain vigilant to ensure the safety of Illinoisans.
The "known threats" to U.S. security at this time are pro-open borders Democrats. It's just that simple.
Maybe you should’ve thought about this situation before you allowed them to take sanctuary in your state.

Exactly. Iran (and many others) saw this and it didn't fall on deaf ears:
We haven't even begun to see the full picture of the awful effects of what the last four years have caused.
