It was thought for a while that Pete Buttigieg would run for a Michigan Senate seat that will be up for grabs next year, but now it looks like the former Transportation Secretary has his sights set higher:

Good luck with that, Mayor Pete!
Part of setting up a run for president is suddenly acting concerned about government efficiency, except not in the traditional definition of the word. Making government more efficient to the Left means spending even more money and adding additional levels of bureaucracy.
I'll make this a shot and chaser just because they're fantastic back-to-back.
The shot:
If we’re serious about more efficient government and better everyday life in America - which we all should be - that means actually improving government, not cutting health care for poor people and slashing support for veterans. pic.twitter.com/LR2s8RfWIJ

"If we're serious about more efficient government" says the guy who was a public official for four years and clearly wasn't interested in making government more efficient.
And the "efficiency" chaser:
This guy.

Remember how we spent $8 billion on EV charging stations and only built about 7 in three years?
That was because of this Mayor Pete.
At Transportation he implemented DEI rules like ‘you must host a “multicultural neighborhood block party” to build an EV charger.’ https://t.co/UauOUDqR3k
Just perfect! Pete was also pretty efficient during the several weeks he took off for family leave.
The man who took a break from using his government agency to make roads and bridges less racist to go on extended maternity leave has thoughts on making government agencies more efficient https://t.co/Ai47pp7PfG

Also everything else Buttigieg said in that video is pure, unadulterated BS.
