We've heard the words "election interference" from the Left for years now for purposes of Dem/media narratives claiming that Republicans are the ones attempting to rig elections. The projection in those claims from Dems is, as usual, off the charts.
With the election just weeks away, the Democrats and media are repeating one of their greatest hits with a little help from FBI Director Christopher Wray:
"Knock it off." - Says FBI Director Christopher Wray to foreign adversaries meddling in American democracy. https://t.co/DbocEMxFbRhttps://t.co/mpSEnuDVlZ pic.twitter.com/L9gj4aTcnm

That small warning apparently doesn't apply to Volodymyr Zelenskyy who recently criticized JD Vance and then visited a swing state on the US taxpayers' dime courtesy of Biden and Harris.
There are the usual cries of "Russian disinformation campaigns" from the Left, and then there's where the actual election interference comes from: The Democrats with the usual assistance from their press arm in the mainstream media.
One of the more glaring recent examples of election interference from the Left -- in addition to the "stories about Hunter Biden's laptop and its contents are part of a Russian disinformation campaign" claims that ironically turned out to be a disinformation campaign -- is the prosecutions of Trump. Every now and then either the Dems or a media outlet comes right out and says it out loud:

Jack Smith has 1 last chance before Election Day to present his best evidence against Donald Trump https://t.co/FWHXPPRWBN
— POLITICO (@politico) September 26, 2024
Jack Smith will claim this is about the "rule of law" and not politics and then his actions contradict that claim every time while media outlets like Politico don't even seem to realize what they're admitting.
Interestingly, you don't see a motive?

Politico's article provided a clue about the motive of Smith and the Democrats toward the end of the story:
It’s all a far cry from the dramatic courtroom showdown Smith’s team had been preparing for a year ago, when they hoped to bring the case quickly before a jury. But it is likely to include damaging details for Trump just weeks before Election Day.
First of all, every one of the legal kangaroo court cases against Trump have backfired on the Democrats, and this will likely be more of the same because as more details emerge the Left's narrative gets undercut.
Thank you for acknowledging that this is all about election interference.

Occasionally the media serves a purpose, albeit accidentally.
