A quick note before we begin: I went to high school in the 1980s and, with certain exceptions, still listen to the same kind of music that caused by parents on many occasions to pound on my bedroom door while yelling "turn down the stereo!" My mom did like to listen to Bob Seger but that's for another day.
I point that out purely as a way to say I'm not familiar with the singer this story revolves around, but I've heard of the band.
There's video going around showing the singer-songwriter of Paramore, Hayley Williams, looking into the camera and rattling off a voting diatribe about Trump that sounds awfully familiar. This is what it looked and sounded like:
Hayley Williams' is trashing a second Donald Trump term ... saying people need to vote if they don't want to end up in a dictatorship run by the 45th POTUS.
The Paramore singer-songwriter fired off at the Republican candidate for president at Las Vegas’ iHeartRadio Music Festival Friday night ... dropping to the ground and speaking right into the camera for those in the venue and for everyone streaming the show.
I miss the days when the band's singer just asked us if we were ready to rock while I held a lighter high in the air.
So yes, once again, here's another example of going to a concert and instead getting a political lecture:
