Back when Joe Biden was the Vice President under Barack Obama, he had this infamous "stand up, Chuck" moment -- and notice how easy it is to understand what he's saying:
Yesterday Biden had another similar moment, except this one was even worse.
Biden started to introduce a man who is "here with us today," except he's not because he's still being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza:
BIDEN (slurring): "And here with us today is Hersh Goldberg-Polin..."

He's actually an American-Israeli still being held hostage by Hamas. pic.twitter.com/bvFCRBcQEL
Yep, he's fine!
Combine that with the increasingly slurred words (they tell us it's just a stutter) and he's getting worse by the day.
Joe Biden says he’s glad to have an American hostage that he helped free from Hamas’s control at this event. Whoops, he’s still a hostage. Watch this. This man can’t do any job in America, not even Wal Mart greeter, and he’s president?! pic.twitter.com/0SFrNuFMdR

Making it even worse of course is that Biden's sending aid into Gaza that is of course being swiped by Hamas while withholding aid to Israel.
YIKES

Biden acknowledges a U.S. hostage, then corrects himself, bc the hostage isn’t in the crowd—he’s still held by Hamas
“And here with us today is Hersh Goldberg-Polin...and he’s still, he is NOT here with us today, he’s still being held by Hamas.”

But remember, "behind the scenes" Biden's still sharp as a tack -- or so we're told.
And he said this despite meeting Hersh’s parents at the White House TODAY https://t.co/AGjZkaZYbF

What are the odds that Biden emerges from the Dem convention in Chicago later this summer as his party's nominee for reelection? I think they've got to stick with Biden at this point but it's still possible the Democrats decide they've seen enough.
