Biden Likes Slamming Billionaires but Sure Doesn't Mind Staying at Their Houses

The Biden White House, along with many Democrats, like to portray themselves as the party of the working class ("middle-class Joe" and all that). That's where all this "tax the rich" and "the super-wealthy aren't paying their fair share" rhetoric comes from.

In the latest White House push they're calling for a "billionaire minimum tax":

First of all, $440 billion over ten years is a drop in the bucket up next to the monstrous level of federal government spending.

Thinking things through isn't Biden's specialty, which is why he's done nothing except be a politician, where failed gambles only lose somebody else's money:

Right. Ask France how this will work out. And besides, it's all lip service from Democrats like Biden.

For the first two years of the Biden presidency, the Democrats controlled the White House, Senate and House of Representatives. They could have done anything they wanted with the tax code, but they've got a "wink wink, nudge nudge" relationship with many billionaires, and then they blame Republicans for not raising taxes.

Why doesn't Biden just deliver his lectures about billionaires right to their faces when he's staying at their homes while on vacation?

Biden could have told Tom Steyer to pay his "fair share" while staying at his Lake Tahoe home:

Biden could have lectured billionaire David Rubenstein about giving the government more of his money while at his Nantucket place over Thanksgiving weekend:

The list of billionaires Biden would like everybody to think are evil (well SOME of them are) but who he's happy to accept accommodations from goes on:

I'm starting to think that Biden doesn't actually resent many billionaires:

Some of the $75m in vacation palaces Joe Biden’s billionaire friends like to lend him (and Hunter):

--Nantucket Owner: David Rubeinstein  House's worth: $34 million Stays: multiple times since 2014, including every year of Biden’s presidency.

--St. Croix Owner: Bill and Connie Neville House worth: $3 million Stays: Last year the Bidens returned to St. Croix, their favorite spot to spend the New Year holiday.

--Lake Tahoe Owner: Tom Steyer House worth: $18 million Stays: August 2023

--Kiawah Island Owner: Maria Allwin  House worth: $20 million  Stays: multiple times, most recently in August 2022

Biden loves billionaires! The next time he's with them he should pass the hat and see if he could get the government that $440 billion right now! Well, minus the "ten percent for the Big Guy" of course.
