Hunter Biden's Paintings Have Entered the Chat About US Citizen Hamas Released

Meme screenshot

On Sunday Hamas released a U.S. citizen being held hostage in Gaza, along with 16 others:

Hamas freed 17 hostages held in Gaza, including a 4-year-old American girl, while Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners on Sunday, the third day of their truce.

The International Committee of the Red Cross said it had successfully transferred 17 hostages from Gaza. Hamas said it had handed over 13 Israelis, three Thais and one with Russian citizenship.

The release of the hostages - part of a larger group captured when Hamas fighters rampaged through southern Israel on Oct. 7 - was mirrored by the freeing of 39 Palestinians, all of whom are teenagers, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

That's great news, but something related to that story caught my eye.

At this point, it may or may not shock you to discover that this story has a connection to Hunter Biden (what doesn't?).

The U.S. hostage that Hamas released is related to a connoisseur of Hunter Biden's "art" who also works in the Biden administration:

Well, there it is!

From Real Clear Investigations

The American kidnap victim released by the terrorist group Hamas during its ongoing ceasefire with Israel is a great-niece of Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali, a major Democratic party donor who paid handsomely for Hunter Biden’s art and won an appointment to a plum cultural post from President Biden.

[...]

Republican House members have been investigating possible connections between Hirsh Naftali’s art buying and her government appointment to the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad since July. In a letter that month to Hirsh Naftali, Oversight Committee chairman James Comer of Kentucky said, "Your position on the Commission is particularly suspicious because of Hunter Biden’s previous actions to elevate his business partner—Eric Schwerin—to the same post while his father was Vice President."

That's an incredible coincidence, don't you think?

Being a "donor" to the correct people can really come in handy, apparently.

Instead, that detail isn't even mentioned in any of the mainstream media reports that I've seen.
