Dem Senator Saying Clarence Thomas Should Disprove Loan Accusation Trips Hard Over Biden

With the House Oversight Committee's impeachment inquiry on President Biden turning up evidence of Biden family influence peddling, naturally, the Democrats are claiming the mounting evidence doesn't exist all while lobbing accusations at Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas:

From The Hill:

An attorney for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is disputing Senate Democrats’ claim that his client did not pay back a “significant portion” of a loan used to purchase a luxury motorcoach.

Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) published a memo Wednesday on findings looking into a loan agreement between Thomas and Tony Welters, which was first reported by The New York Times in August. The committee staff reviewed documents related to the loan and determined Thomas “did not repay a significant portion of the loan principal” and paid only interest on the $267,230 debt.

Democrat Sen. Wyden had this to say about Thomas' attorney's response to the accusation:

Who wants to tell him?

Unless you're a Republican, in which case it's "guilty until proven innocent and we'll still claim you're guilty anyway."

But if the senator really wants to take the "prove it" approach, maybe he could also start with the person in the White House:

Maybe Wyden should be made to explain why he's so intent on getting rid of the black guy while letting The Big Guy slide. I'm sure Sen. Whitehouse is totally with Wyden too.
