In spite of the fact that many in the Biden administration laughably continue to insist that the border is secure, the reality is, as usual, telling a different story.
Just ask New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who suddenly doesn't seem to be embracing The Big Apple's "proud sanctuary city" status and would rather the consequences of the policies he's supported remain a problem for southern states:

Meanwhile, in Chicago, which is another sanctuary city, many people in the country illegally are being housed at O'Hare Airport:
Chicago leaders are facing backlash over hundreds of migrants being housed at O’Hare International Airport, one of the nation’s busiest airports.
Chicago reporter William Kelly joined “Fox & Friends” Thursday to discuss what the city has been experiencing as a result of the influx of migrants.
More than 400 migrants are reportedly being housed in a section of the airport, hidden from public view behind black curtains, up from 31 at the beginning of August.
Kelly said the airport is one of only 18 migrant shelters in Chicago and that homeless Americans are no longer allowed to stay at the airport.
Remember when President Biden said VP Kamala Harris was in charge of the border? She was also apparently put in charge of the weather because this is the latest spin for this administration's egregious dereliction of duty:

Yes! What's happened at the border is a big success from the Biden administration's perspective. It was to be expected coming from people whose policies are purely "America Last."
