Data shows nobody believes the Left's warnings about Florida being a fascist dystopian hellscape

Going back to the time Ron DeSantis was elected governor of Florida, ridiculous attempts have been made to paint the state under his leadership as a terrorist hellhole and threat to freedoms. Those kinds of claims have only gotten more ridiculous since DeSantis announced a presidential run.

You’ve heard it all by now…

Florida groups have ever since Covid been warning about the “dictator,” Gov. Ron DeSantis:

That’s from The Guardian:

Minority groups and others in Florida trampled by Ron DeSantis during his march to a White House run are warning of democracy in peril at a national level.

The rightwing Republican governor’s announcement on Wednesday that he was seeking his party’s 2024 presidential nomination provoked anger and a renewed promise of resistance from transgender rights advocates, immigrant organizations, and civil and voting rights groups in Florida, who have borne the brunt of his extremist policies and legislation.

One prominent Democratic state congresswoman called Florida “the canary in the coalmine” for the wider US as DeSantis prepares to hawk his hard-right brand on the national stage.

The NAACP recently issued a travel advisory, claiming it’s not safe to go to Florida:

As usual, reality tells a different story than the Left does. The irony is that Dems from blue states who trash DeSantis as a “dictator” are well aware that people are leaving blue states to head to the Sunshine State:

Wow, “one of these things is not like the other.”

Right? This makes no sense.

It’s gotten so bad for the Left that even the Associated Press has been forced to admit — whether they realize it or not — that you can in fact say “gay” in Florida:

Narratives have just been falling apart everywhere lately!
