Musk turned the tables on a BBC tech reporter attempting to forward the narrative that “hate” on Twitter has risen since the Tesla founder bought the company:
Interviewer: There’s been a rise in hatful content on Twitter.
Musk: Give me an example.
Interviewer: I can’t.

The reporter went from “there’s an increase in hate on Twitter” to “actually it’s been a while since I’ve been on Twitter” in record time, and that was deeply awkward to watch.
