NY Times Wordplay mocking story about amount of milk parents buy backfired so bad it got deleted (nice try but here it is)

A story about how inflation is hitting foster and adoptive parents who are raising nine kids predictably caused some sneering from lefties. The story included the parents saying how much more they’re spending for several gallons of milk per week, and one conservative mom ripped those mocking it.
