Back in August, Joe Biden said on ABC that if he were to win the election, and scientists said the country should be locked down, he would do it. “I would shut it [the country] down,” Biden said.
Katie Pavlich has spotted some evidence that the “I would shut the country down” approach isn’t too popular, and that evidence comes in the form of a tweet from @JoeBiden:
It appears President Trump’s warnings of a Biden shutdown are working https://t.co/bTIggZtyxZ

So, no economic shutdown if Biden’s elected?
I'm not going to shut down the country.
I'm not going to shut down the economy.
I'm going to shut down the virus.

How exactly does one shut a virus down? If Joe has info on how to do that perhaps he should share it now.
Governments CAN'T control viruses.
Governments control people.
When Biden says he wants to get the virus under control, that means he wants to get YOU under control. #VOTE accordingly.

And too many politicians have become addicted to that control.
I think that’s why he’s shouting – damage control.

But what about Trunalimunumaprzure? I need a Biden to English dictionary!

Exactly right. We've seen it for months on CNN and MSNBC in particular where the drumbeat is working its way back into the discourse about a return to shutdowns.
Doing so again would break people's will to live in more ways than one. https://t.co/T0E4Jnndrf

And yet they call Trump the wannabe authoritarian.
