Rep. Ted Lieu doesn’t think President Trump is fighting fairly or ethically, so he wants a change in the House rules to match:
The @realDonaldTrump Administration brought a machete to a knife fight. We brought the House rules. And we are getting shredded. We need to change the Rules to allow
-Contempt on the spot
-Witnesses to be fined dailyIt is now time to exercise our full inherent contempt powers.

Translation?
Hahahaha!
"We lost because our claims were not valid, so we want to change the rules now in order to get our way!!!!!"

If Dems think they’re so right about Trump they don’t need any rule changes to start impeachment proceedings, and yet that isn’t happening.
The rules are on our side, also we must change the rules because it's so unfair https://t.co/fmR0M9lCWb

A strange way of saying “current Congress is losing game” and so they’ll change rules – mid game – to show they’re not as week as they appear. Lol. https://t.co/mGIdMWjQD5

Hey Teddy, we already have a judicial branch of government. If you want contempt of Congress to have some teeth you probably shouldn't have sneered when @EricHolder was held in contempt. https://t.co/XG8HH0cnL1

Also, maybe Lieu’s comparison is way off the mark:
To be accurate Ted
Your side called for a duel
And brought a spork https://t.co/CgUL9w2gWj— Jim Hanson (@Uncle_Jimbo) September 22, 2019
That’s way more accurate than Lieu’s tweet.
