On Friday it was reported that Joe Biden would seek to compromise with Republicans on a “middle ground” when it comes to climate change legislation, and the Left lost it:
UH OH! What Joe Biden’s looking for in a ‘climate policy’ has lefties hot under the collar https://t.co/zEv1hUnlYL

The Sunrise Movement called Biden’s position a “death sentence”:
.@JoeBiden's "middle ground" climate plan is a death sentence for our generation.

The Democrat primary season is going to be lit if even Joe Biden is already being accused of being the Grim Reaper. But Naomi Klein was also among those troubled by what Biden said:
No Joe, there is no "middle ground" on climate breakdown – there is bold, transformative action or there is sinking ground, burning ground and churning ground. "Presidential hopeful Biden looking for ‘middle ground’ climate policy" https://t.co/8q2WPzU7w0

And that brings us to Green New Deal proponent Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who REALLY didn’t like Biden’s approach. Suffice to say it doesn’t sound as if AOC will be campaigning for Joe any time soon:
This is a dealbreaker.
There is no “middle ground” w/ climate denial & delay.
Blaming “blue collar” Americans as the main opponents to bold climate policy is gas lobbyist 101.
We’re not going to solve the climate crisis w/ this lack of leadership. Our kids’ lives are at stake. https://t.co/KvrBmaJd75

Oh, it’s on!
AOC is going after Joe Biden as timid on climate change and a tool of the fossil fuel lobby?

Sheesh. Pass the popcorn!
Geezus. I’ve lived through nuclear holocaust ala ‘The Day After’, Mini Ice Age, Killer Bees, Acid Rain, Ozone depletion, Global warming, now ‘climate change’. Do you have any idea how stupid you sound to your Gen X cousins?

No, we don’t think she does.
If you really believed that the planet will end in 12 twelve years, you'd take drastic measures against India and China. You never mention them.

Well, then… You will get nothing…
… And thus, are part of the problem. https://t.co/9rsRhgpTu2

One final question:
Fair. But why didnt you let people vote on it? https://t.co/buOvKY5fuT
