During remarks this morning, President Trump said that former Secretary of State John Kerry should be held legally accountable for engaging in shadow diplomacy with the Iranian regime:
In the Roosevelt Room, President Trump just said that John Kerry should be prosecuted for violating the Logan Act because of his contacts with Iranians.

President Trump on Iran: "I'd like them to call me. You know, John Kerry speaks to them a lot. @JohnKerry tells them not to call. That's a violation of the Logan Act. And, frankly, he should be prosecuted on that." pic.twitter.com/Y145xDnb3g

John Kerry, through a spokesman, took offense to Trump’s comments:
Kerry spokesman on Trump comments: “Everything President Trump said today is simply wrong, end of story. He's wrong about the facts, wrong about the law, and sadly he's been wrong about how to use diplomacy to keep America safe.”

When Kerry was SoS he really had a lock on that “diplomacy” thing, didn’t he? *Eye roll*
Coming from the guy who's idea of diplomacy was trotting out James Taylor, I'd say prison is too good for Kerry.

We need more James Taylor!

Apparently Team Kerry considered that and more to be masterful diplomatic moves.

The pallets of cash in the middle of the night to launder for terrorist use, for nuclear development and for enriching Iran's rulers, that Kerry?
