As we told you yesterday, the New York Times reported that the FBI sent people to spy on Trump campaign aides ahead of the 2016 election. This particular trail of information could be damning for some Democrats and certain Obama-era intelligence community leaders, but as we know, a certain predictable spin can always be counted on. CNN’s Chris Cuomo gave the media a refresher course on how it’s done:
How Chris Cuomo teased an upcoming segment on the NYT report confirming the FBI spied on the Trump campaign: A story "that may rile up the right" pic.twitter.com/OF3dK8Cpzq

Well, the story certainly isn’t going to rile up the totally objective media, except to cause them to again circle the wagons around Democrats.
"Rile up the right" is CNN's way of saying "may result in indictments."

It should rile up anyone uncomfortable with the abuse of power.

The Hill might definitely be up for following Cuomo’s “rile up the right” lead on spinning this story.
