CNN got in on the Green New Deal fun today with this on-screen description that’s become a joke — but not too big of a joke for CNN to keep using it:

There it is!
The best part of all this is the media treating the Green New Deal as if it's not the most ridiculous proposal ever written. This is the equivalent of a GOP bill to require gun ownership and church attendance.
Come on, this is asinine. https://t.co/ZiZfvYOqK3

If the GOP can troll you using your own legislation then maybe you're doing a bad job.
Just a thought. https://t.co/HZxeF2ef3t

Just something for Dems and their media backers to think about.
Wow. They thought our ridicule was a challenge. They rose to it nicely.

Yes they did!
They’re doing this on purpose now. They have to be. https://t.co/RyGQ2Saaxu

7 second mark…? "The GOP pounces.." ? These clowns are a caricature of themselves and seem intent on making sure they earn/maintain the mantle of #FakeNews. #MAGA #GOP https://t.co/4flfUgi50E

Only conservatives "pounce." Why not say "GOP demonstrates the inadequacies of the Green New Deal?" https://t.co/rAO2O7FWh1
