Yesterday former FBI Director James Comey testified to two House committees behind closed doors. Comey basically said later it was a bunch of hoopla over nothing:
Today wasn’t a search for truth, but a desperate attempt to find anything that can be used to attack the institutions of justice investigating this president. They came up empty today but will try again. In the long run, it'll make no difference because facts are stubborn things.

Could that have something to do with why Republicans “came up empty,” to use Comey’s words? Many think so:
Didn't they "come up empty" because you had lawyer running interference saying you wouldn't answer certain questions? Everything they wanted to learn, you withheld!!!

This week Rep. Ted Lieu reminded Comey to hang in there because the GOP-led investigations will come to a halt at the beginning of next month when the Dems take control of the House.
