It’s Halloween, which means there’s a whole lot of potentially triggering content being put on Twitter. But the administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Seema Verma really set off the Resistance crowd and others with this one:

Planned Parenthood, Kathy Griffin and David Corn were among those alarmed:
Our health care is not a joke.
Vote. #TakeItBack https://t.co/gY12U8Ib1l

You are such a loser. And that you are in charge of anything is so sad. https://t.co/ubC7Ph3PvI

But so were many more:

This seems like an odd way to announce that you’re unfit for office and going to resign, but it’s your choice I suppose.

You're a national embarrassment.

Wow. Just…wow. The person in charge of operating Medicare thinks more people receiving Medicare is frightening. https://t.co/0W2hZ2GtJA

This year's violation of the Hatch Act goes to Seema Verma for supporting a corrupt and doddering administration that has no interest at all in providing medical care to anyone who isn't a member of tRUmp's country club.

I feel like if you think that the idea of everyone having Medicare is "this year's scariest Halloween costume," you probably shouldn't be the person running the agency responsible for Medicare. Just a thought. https://t.co/12OUqDOvag

Resign.

Hey everybody! This tweet if from the Administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). A public official tasked with overseeing medicare. Do you need further proof Trump wants to do away with healthcare altogether?
— WonderWoman (@T_WonderSlueth) October 31, 2018
In general, the CMS administrator’s Halloween tweet was a big time trigger.
