As Twitchy told you Monday afternoon, President Trump ordered the declassification of some Russia probe documents to be released to the public. Trump said the move was to provide greater transparency:

NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell seems alarmed by Trump declassifying and releasing those documents:
This is unprecedented during an active investigation – and by a President under investigation https://t.co/tT3da8KdNA

Mitchell’s take on Trump releasing the documents caused a lot of head scratching:
Media that had zero problem uncritically receiving and pushing selective leaks in support of a false narrative are upset with transparency and accountability. A sight to behold. https://t.co/FIgAtkagK5

So the media who quotes unsourced leaks for reports are complaining about getting actual documents openly. What is the media helping cover up when thats the case?

Maybe Mitchell would have preferred it if the documents would have been leaked to the media via anonymous sources.

Objecting to full transparency?
Andrea, we both know Obama weaponized the DOJ, FBI, et. al. leaders to influence an election. When that failed they attempted to overturn the election.
It is, of course, the greatest scandal in American history.
You'll have missed it completely.

Mueller said Trump isn't under investigation. Didn't anyone tell you, Andrea?

Trump isn't under investigation. You'd think someone in your position would know this.

Please explain – he’s complicit by being more transparent?? I’ll hang up and listen. #thinkbeforeyoutweet

Mitchell isn’t the only NBC News reporter stunned by Trump’s release of those documents.
