As Twitchy told you earlier, political science professor Dr. Christina Greer had some horrible comments about Mollie Tibbetts in her criticism of Fox News for putting so much focus on the University of Iowa student’s murder by a man believed to be in the country illegally. Greer referred to Tibbetts as “a girl in Iowa” in her comments slamming Fox News:

Greer subsequently blamed backlash on racism, but since then she has tweeted what’s supposed to be an apology or something:
Yesterday I said something flippant that was unintended. Mollie Tibbets was a promising young woman who lost her life. My hope is that her family will find peace & justice and that her murder is not used to justify a discriminatory immigration policy. #Apologiesaremyown.
