'Not going to be shushed'! CNN's Jim Acosta defiant in face of attempted shushing at Trump event [video]

There was an attempted shushing of CNN’s Jim Acosta at a Trump event today. First make sure you’re not drinking anything before clicking “play”:

"Mr. President, will you stop calling the press the enemy of the people," CNN Journalist Jim Acosta shouted at the end of Trump's speech pic.twitter.com/FqWT5afwUV

Ouch! But CNN’s intrepid White House reporter is undaunted:

I tried to ask the president if he would stop calling us the enemy of the people. He did not respond.

Trump didn't appear to hear any of the questions we called out to him at the end of the tax reform anniversary event. Notably, when the very friendly audience realized reporters were yelling to Trump, they increased the volume of their applause and whooping to override the press. https://t.co/YOXbBiCGVX

We also had a few folks who shushed is in the audience. Of course we are not going to be shushed. https://t.co/ZbSYaTVYti

Proof that some White House reporters remain fully energized to do their jobs after an eight-year hibernation that ended on January 20th, 2017.
