President Trump often uses the term “fake news” to point out media malfeasance, blunders and errors of fact, but as much as the Democrats try and make “fake news” an accusation used by Republicans only, there’s this wake-up call:

Well, maybe it’s not a “Trump effect” as much as it is a media effect:

Perhaps the next media outlet to issue a major correction or delete a tweet due to an egregious error will just cite the “Trump effect” as a contributing factor.
