There was horrible news out of Santa Fe, Texas this morning at Santa Fe High School after a student opened fire inside the school which resulted in multiple fatalities. President Trump tweeted this after the news broke:
School shooting in Texas. Early reports not looking good. God bless all!

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo already seems to know who’s to blame, and that’s, not surprisingly, the NRA and President Trump:
Dear @realDonaldTrump and Washington Republicans:
Columbine. Virginia Tech. Sandy Hook. Las Vegas. Orlando. Parkland. Santa Fe.
When is enough enough?
How many more innocent people have to die before you act?
You were elected to lead – DO SOMETHING. https://t.co/2RnZ6By7cN— Andrew Cuomo (@NYGovCuomo) May 18, 2018
NEW: NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo writes open letter to Pres. Trump, elected officials following Texas school shooting:
"You were elected to lead – do something. Your first responsibility is to the people of this country, not the NRA – do something." https://t.co/NGQZybRchn pic.twitter.com/wFGs1Ee1No

Cuomo didn’t outline what in particular could have been done to help prevent awful crimes like the one committed today, other than to yet again blame the NRA.
What do YOU propose, @NYGovCuomo? The assault weapons ban did NOT reduce gun murders. What is your solution to the 2nd Amendment problem we have?

Funny how he bit his tongue for 8 YEARS under Obama but now that Trump is in office – everything is the Presidents fault… #LiberalismIsAMentalDisorder #LiberalLogic

Sadly, it’s never too soon to politicize a tragedy.
