Many in the media will say that the news cycles are so much busier now that Donald Trump is president. CNN’s Brian Stelter made such an observation not long ago:
"Under the Obama administration, we often focused on one or two stories every day. Now it is not unusual to cover five or six!" —@kwelkernbc https://t.co/5bpVkL0blk

The media are so overwhelmed that some things must go unreported or underreported, such as one story a couple network newscasts couldn’t find time for:
WUT? US forces in Iraq captured 5 of ISIS's top leaders and CBS was the only network in the big three to mention it #TTT https://t.co/GQh7nl6jCz

Via Newsbusters:
But depending on which of the major network news outlets you watch, you may not have heard about the captured leaders. CBS Evening News was the only member of the big three networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) to even mention it that evening.
Shocker!
A lie of omission is still a lie. #Fakenews https://t.co/MSDu8kv94g

Lucky most Americans don’t rely on the MSM for their news. Most of us knew of this during the day from the internet and social media. Who needs the so called big 3? Big only in their own minds https://t.co/8KszjgstbJ

And they wonder why we call it Fake News?

Capture of 5 #ISIS big shots = big news. Curious how so important a development is largely overlooked by mainstream-Is it because international terrorists no longer represent a significant security threat? Or-more likely-media resolved never to write good news re @realDonaldTrump
