The New York Times’ editorial board has been hammered for its spin of the Alexandria shooting to the point where they’ve had to issue a correction to its smear on Sarah Palin. A Washington Post op-ed written by Post editorial writer Stephen Stromberg is also getting shredded for this approach to the shooting:
Opinion: The baseball shooting wasn’t an attack on the GOP. It was an attack on all of us. https://t.co/g1akRLolGe

Here’s just a little taste of the column that appears to provide some justification for a level of anger that was on display at yesterday morning’s shooting:

They also had to write this little tidbit in the opinion. pic.twitter.com/5p82revhka

Unreal.
"We condemn the shooter… but, you know, he actually did kind of have a point…"

No, it was pretty clearly an attack on the GOP. The shooter was quite specific about that. https://t.co/yNNJRq0sGw

NYT: Palin is to blame for Giffords
WaPo: The GOP had it comingBravo, assholes. Looking forward to your next "politics is toxic" column.

Pulse was "an attack on the LGBT community."
Manchester was "an attack on women."
But this is "an attack on all of us." Got it. https://t.co/q0feWd063y— NeoN: Automataster (@neontaster) June 15, 2017
