Democrats including Elijah Cummings, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign claiming that conversations he had with the Russian ambassador conflicted with an answer he gave to a Senate committee under oath. Senator Claire McCaskill responded to the controversy this way:
