New Education Secretary Betsy DeVos was attempting to visit a school in Washington, DC when protesters blocked her path, and then harassed DeVos on her way back to a vehicle, which one person then attempted to block. Former Education Secretary in the Obama administration Arne Duncan came to the defense of DeVos this way:
Agree or disagree w @BetsyDeVos on any issue, but let's all agree she really needs to be in public schools. Please let her in.
