Hillary Clinton had a brief weak sauce press conference this morning to discuss the bombings in New Jersey and New York City, as well as the stabbing attack in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Mostly it seemed that media wanted to ask her about Donald Trump’s comments about the same issues.
In an appeal to voters, Clinton tried to use the situation to highlight her experience in combating the problem:
“I’m the only candidate in this race who’s been part of the hard decisions to take terrorists off the battlefield. —Hillary

Now how could that statement possibly backfire?
Yes you have taken terrorists off the battlefield. And put them in our neighborhoods, schools, and malls. https://t.co/3JEOKwNqjm

Maybe pledging to do more of what led to where we are now is NOT a good idea, Mrs. Clinton.
???????
That's why we are not having any terrorist attacks today, correct? https://t.co/WtDasfAlev— Lynn, MBA #MAGA (@lynmacjay) September 19, 2016
You're the only candidate in this race responsible for the uprising of radical Islamic terrorism in America. https://t.co/Y2Ph78DgOc

The Clinton team should be doing everything it can to keep conversation away from her time in State Dept. Very odd. https://t.co/HWeP9yY3ET
