From the Baltimore Sun:
Baltimore schools administrator and Black Lives Matter activist DeRay Mckesson is suing the city of Baton Rouge over his arrest during the protest of a deadly police shooting.
A class-action lawsuit filed Thursday in federal court on behalf of Mckesson, 31, and two other arrested protesters, accuses the city and police officials of violating their civil rights and using excessive force.
When he was released from jail, an “awful” breakfast was among McKesson’s complaints.
