At last night’s #CNNDebate, Jake Tapper asked Donald Trump about violence at his campaign rallies. Not specifically mentioned was the incident where Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is alleged to have grabbed reporter Michelle Fields (which Fields says left these bruises).
Trump was asked about it after the debate, and dismissed Fields’ allegation:
#Break: Donald Trump just told me he thinks that the Michelle Fields incident didn't happen. "I think they made it up."

Here’s video of Trump answering the question:

Trump was reminded of a few not-so-trivial details:
"I think they made it up" Move along now. Ignore audio, eyewitness and manager admission to Breitbart now retracted. https://t.co/sQbXeHteyc

Trump seems unaware Lewandowski admitted it. Trump also seems confident media will let it go. He's probably right https://t.co/EWeOBAmVxV
