NYSE and United Airlines systems down due to 'technical issues' (and here's what might be blamed)

Trading on the NYSE has been halted..following an earlier glitch involving 200 stocks.United grounding, WSJ site down…China coincidental?

United Airlines is experiencing computer problems that has left flights grounded. Along with that, trading the New York Stock Exchange has been halted due to a “technical issue.” To top it off, for a time, the Wall Street Journal’s homepage was inaccessible:

All NYSE floor trading HALTED. Did they try turning the stock exchange off and then turning it on again?
