When considering public transportation options, no idea should be left off the table for discussion, as DC Councilwoman Mary Cheh is quoted as recommending pursuing seemingly senseless ideas:

A “feasibility study” for the non-feasible idea would cost around $200,000, the WaPo reported.
Cheh’s quote is emblematic of the problem in government, but might at the same time place her among elite company:
@lachlan: Seriously? Even though that group includes Patty Murray, Barbara Boxer, Jimmy Carter, Hank Johnson, and Joe Biden?

Maybe there are just too many to choose from to make a definitive determination.
@lachlan Makes sense to Cheh. Gets more $$ directly or indirectly

If we have to realistically explore all forms of transport, I want to ride on the back of a flying triceratops. https://t.co/MicUpYMa9y
