So far the announced female candidates are Hillary Clinton for the Democrats, and Carly Fiorina for the Republicans. That doesn’t seem to eliminate media insinuations that the balance is different.
Interesting take @MarshaBlackburn on why there aren't more women GOPers in 16. Says harder to raise money; party tends to pick next in line

Constant reminders are always welcomed:
GOP has the same number of women running for president as the Dems. https://t.co/Yq7Pvtj2ZK

Even if the GOP were to have more women in the field somehow many in the media would conveniently miss that point, not to mention other details that go against the usual talking points:
.@exjon and we got more minorities … But bqwhateverr @kasie

@exjon @kasie @MarshaBlackburn they want more women in GOP race so they can make fun of them and call them derogatory names
— Jake Goza (@shogdevil) May 9, 2015
Precisely. Saying GOP women are out of touch for believing what 50% of women believe on abortion. @shogdevil @exjon @kasie @MarshaBlackburn

Hey @kasie when are you going to ask a tough question of @HillaryClinton the white elderly millionaire Dem in the race?@MarshaBlackburn
— Howard Roark (@shortwave8669) May 9, 2015
Yes, will the media ask Dems similar questions?

Willing to bet media won't ask why there aren't more Hispanic Dem candidates in 2016: https://t.co/kmGs63BT8Z
